About the King Cake Classic 5k
The King Cake Classic starts and finishes at a pavilion in the East Bank District, just across the street from a brewery. The downtown Bossier City setting gives the course an urban feel, and the winter-season timing ties the race to the local holiday calendar in a way that gives the morning a festive edge most road races skip.
The start area is right in the heart of the district, so parking and pre-race gathering happen in a walkable stretch of downtown. A separate fun run for kids runs just ahead of the main race, which means the morning has a little extra energy at the start line before the field heads out.
