About the Kharites Works Charity 5K & Community Walk
The course runs through park pathways in San Antonio, with water stations and volunteers posted along the route. There is also a kids fun run and a community walk option, so the start area draws a wide range of people, from strollers to age-group competitors.
Packet pickup and check-in happen the morning of the race before the start. After the run, there is an awards ceremony, food trucks, music, and a community resource fair with vendor booths, so most people stick around after they finish.
