About the Kappa Delta's Run Dahlonega 5K

The course runs through historical downtown Dahlonega and over rolling terrain, starting and finishing on the university drill field in front of a campus memorial hall. It is a road race with real hills, not a flat loop, and the downtown stretch gives it some character beyond a standard campus out-and-back.

Race-morning packet pickup opens at the campus recreation center before the start, so there is no need to sort things out the day before. The race benefits child advocacy organizations, and age group awards go deep into the field across a wide range of brackets.
