About the Inua 5k

The course starts and finishes in Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park, looping through the park on sidewalk before crossing Lakemont Avenue to pick up the paved trail around Lake Baldwin. The water is right there for a good stretch of the run. It is a road and paved-trail course, mostly flat, and the route brings you back to the same open field where the morning began.

After the race, there is a finish-line celebration with food, music, and awards. A house band from a local school of rock program plays while people gather. Parking is available along the roads that border the park and in a public lot nearby, and race-morning packet pickup opens well before the start.
