About the Hingham Turkey Trot
The race runs on Thanksgiving morning and benefits the cross-country and track programs at the local high school, which also serves as the start and finish. The course is a road race with awards for overall and age-group leaders. Running strollers are welcome, though dogs are not permitted on the course.
Packet pickup happens at the high school cafeteria in the days before the race, with a final window on race morning before the start. Parking is available at the school itself, and several spots around town offer overflow parking, some with a short walk and one with a shuttle to the start.

The Hingham Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
