About the Heroes and Villains Half Marathon- Tulsa
The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and starts on a named street in Tulsa. The costume angle is real, not decorative: runners show up in capes and full villain gear, and the crowd responds to it. Several distance options mean the start area fills with a wide spread of people, from small kids doing a short untimed dash to half marathoners.
Bibs are available the morning of the race before the opening wave. After you finish, the Race Rally Tent has snacks and refreshments, and a DJ runs an awards ceremony with age group recognition and oversized trophies for top finishers. The costume contest happens just before racing begins, so arriving early is worth it.
