About the Heroes and Villains Half Marathon- Shreveport
The race is held at Walker Place Park and leans into its superhero theme hard enough that costumes are genuinely common, not just a handful of people. A costume contest runs right before the start, so there is already a crowd buzzing when the gun goes off. Several distance options mean you will see people of very different speeds out on the course.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race, wrapping up before the start. Afterward, the finish area stays active with a DJ, a live awards ceremony, and snacks and refreshments at what the organizers call the Race Rally Tent.
