About the Heroes and Villains Half Marathon- San Antonio
The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon starts at The Rim Shopping Center, so the surrounding area is suburban and flat. The race leans hard into its costume theme, and a good portion of the field shows up dressed as something. A DJ calls runners across the finish, and there is a costume contest before the first wave goes off.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race, ending shortly before the start. After finishing, the Race Rally Tent has snacks and refreshments, and an awards ceremony follows with music still going.
