About the Hanover Turkey Trot 5K
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Hanover, starting and finishing near the middle school. The course is open to strollers, though they line up toward the back. Dogs and bikes are not allowed on course. It draws the kind of crowd you would expect on a holiday morning, families and all paces mixed together.
Packet pickup happens at Sylvester School in the days before the race, with race-morning pickup available at the middle school as a backup. Parking is split between the middle school and the high school; if you park at the high school, build in a few extra minutes to walk over to the start.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
