About the Hammond Firefighters 911 Memorial Run
Cate Square Park in downtown Hammond serves as the start and finish, with the route heading out to a local university campus and looping back. The road course is flat throughout, moving between open streets and campus grounds. The race is organized by local firefighters, and proceeds support nonprofits they back.
Packet pickup runs over the two evenings before race day at a local fitness studio, with a race-morning option available as well. The park setting puts the start and finish right in the middle of downtown, easy to find.
