About the Halloween Edition - Wag & Waddle Pet Run/Walk
This is a Halloween pet run held at The Grove Park in the Packing District. The distances are short by design, scaled to match the size of the dog you bring, so a walk through the park with a chihuahua looks different from a run with a lab. Costumes are expected on both ends of the leash, and there is a judged contest for best dressed.
Foxtail Coffee has free coffee and pup cups at the event, so there is somewhere to linger after you finish. A costume contest with awards for top finishers gives the post-race area a reason to stick around beyond catching your breath.
