About the Girls on the Run

The course runs through Mission County Park, a riverside green space on the south side of San Antonio. The terrain is park paths, mostly flat, and the surroundings are open and easy to move through. The race centers on the Girls on the Run program, so the field skews young, with girls finishing a season of training alongside running buddies and family cheering from the sides.

There are a couple of packet pickup options in the days before the race, one at the program's local office and one at a running store. Race morning is at Mission County Park, with awards going to overall and masters winners as well as age group placers.
