About the Girls on the Run Denver Metro 5K
The race starts and finishes just outside a major NFL stadium, on the circle drive west of the parking lots. It is a road course, so the surface is smooth and the route is open enough for a large group to spread out comfortably. The stadium backdrop makes for a striking start-line atmosphere, especially on a cool fall morning.
Bib pickup and race-day registration open well before the start, giving coaches and participants time to settle in before the official gun. Parking is in the lots immediately adjacent to the course, so there is almost no walking between your car and the start line.

The Girls on the Run Denver Metro 5K has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
