About the Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K - Tulsa
The course runs through local parks and greenbelts along a street on the north side of Tulsa, so most of the route has that paved path feel you get in urban green space. It is a holiday race through and through: a DJ keeps things moving at the start and finish, there is a costume contest with real prizes, and holiday cookies and milk are waiting at the finish line.
The finish area is set up as a rally tent with live award announcements and the DJ calling out runners as they come in. Aid stations are out on the course for water and support. If you are bringing kids, there is a short untimed dash designed for the youngest runners.
