About the Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K - Shreveport
Walker Place Park hosts this holiday-themed race through local parks and scenic greenbelts in Bossier City. The course suits a range of paces, with distance options from a short kids dash up through a longer run. A costume contest runs alongside the racing, with prizes for the most creative holiday outfits.
A DJ keeps things moving at the start and finish area. After finishing, there are holiday cookies and milk at the race rally tent. Aid stations are posted along the course.
