About the Gator Gallop 5K
The course circles Lake Quannapowitt on flat roads, starting and finishing on the lower common where Main Street and Church Street meet. It is a straightforward loop with the lake alongside most of the way, which keeps the route easy to follow and gives you something to look at.
The kids' fun run goes off first from the same starting area, with parents lining the route to cheer. The lower common serves as the hub for both races, so families tend to gather there before and after. Restrooms are available on site.
