The course runs through Riverfront Park, which sits along the water in Pottstown. The route stays in the park, so expect a flat path with open sky around you. The whole event leans into the holiday theme hard: costumes are encouraged, and prizes go to the most creatively dressed individuals and most spirited teams alongside the usual age group awards.
Candy canes and cookies show up at the race, which gives the finish area a party feel rather than a purely athletic one. The park setting keeps everything contained, so spectators and slower finishers are never far from the action.
