Both the run and the walk move through the Squirrel Hill neighborhood, and the two events stagger their starts so the streets have a steady presence most of the morning. The course has a neighborhood feel, residential blocks rather than a park path, and the crowd includes people there to run hard alongside people who are simply out to walk together.
