About the Franklin Park Turkey Trot
The course loops around the golf course inside Franklin Park, starting and finishing near the clubhouse. The path surfaces can be uneven and slippery in spots, so watch your footing. Strollers, wheelchairs, and leashed dogs are welcome, and a separate wave goes off later for those taking it easy.
Packet pickup is available at the golf clubhouse on race morning, though early pickup options at the clubhouse and a local ice cream shop in Jamaica Plain are offered beforehand. Parking is spread across several lots along Circuit Drive and near the zoo's rear entrance. The park has multiple entrances, and the organizers are specific about which ones to use, so check the directions before you drive in.
