The course is a road run that starts and finishes at Jaycee Park. It is a there-and-back or looping road layout, so you end up right where you began, which makes it easy to spot familiar faces at the start line waiting for you at the finish.
Packet pickup runs at the fire station the couple of days before the race, during daytime hours. The event is put on by a volunteer fire department, and the entry fees go directly toward their training and equipment.
