About the Glow Run 5k
This is an after-dark event, so you are running in the night air with lights on. The run benefits Building Hope, a local organization focused on children and families, and that cause gives the evening a purpose beyond just the finish line. The atmosphere tends toward the festive side of things, with the glow element encouraging people to deck themselves out before the start.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet Greenville, the store that organizes the race. The start location had not been confirmed at the time the organizer published details, so worth checking closer to race day.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Glow Run 5k has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
