About the Fiesta Footsteps for Education
The race starts and finishes at Heroes Stadium on the east side of San Antonio. The main run is a road course, chip timed, with a short kids color fun run going off first. The setup feels like a school-district event, which it is, backed by a local educational foundation and a benefits office rather than a race company.
There are a couple of packet pickup options before race day, including delivery to your campus workplace if you registered that way, or pickup at the foundation's office. After the race, a health and wellness fair with local vendors runs on-site, so there is some reason to stick around past the finish line.
