About the Eerie Playhouse Ghostlight Halloween 5K
The course winds through downtown Erie on Halloween morning, with the Erie Playhouse serving as the hub for both the start and the finish. Music plays along the route, and costumes are the norm, with prizes going to standout outfits across several categories. It runs on pavement through city streets, so expect a flat urban route with plenty of spectators and dressed-up volunteers mixed in.
After the race, there is a vendor fair near the finish, along with post-race refreshments. The whole morning is centered on the block in front of the Playhouse.
