About the Drumstick Dash
The course runs through the NoHo Arts District, with crowds lining the streets and DJs posted along the way. It is a Thanksgiving morning race that raises money for a local mission serving people experiencing homelessness, so the energy on course reflects that. Costumes are common, and there is a contest for them at the finish.
Packet pickup happens in the days before the race at a shopping mall in Sherman Oaks, set up in the parking lot near a PetSmart off Riverside Drive. If you are collecting a bib for someone else, you will need a signed waiver and a copy of their ID in hand when you arrive.
