About the Donut Runners Rejoice - 5K, 10K, 10-Miler, Half Marathon
The course runs along the beach path at Alamitos Beach, right on the waterfront. It is an open path, so you share the space with cyclists and pedestrians throughout. The route is out-and-back, and depending on your distance you repeat sections of it. Turns are marked with chalk, signs, and flags, so navigation is straightforward.
Packet pickup happens the afternoon before at a local sporting goods store. Race morning, bib pickup opens early at the start area. Parking is available in the lot nearby, with a paid hourly rate, or you can find free street parking. The finish line has water, electrolytes, and snacks.
