About the Dolly Should 9 to 5K
This one starts and finishes at the Mockingbird Café and leans into a theme: Dolly, head to toe. Costumes are the point, big hair and sparkles encouraged, and the run itself is untimed. The entry fee is a children's book donation rather than cash, supporting a literacy initiative in Dolly's name.
Mimosas, juice, and water are waiting at the finish, and there is a costume contest with awards. It is a morning that moves slowly on purpose, so arriving dressed up is not optional so much as expected.
