About the Bay St. Louis Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The race starts and finishes at the historic train depot in downtown Bay Saint Louis, routing through the old town streets before reaching the beachfront boulevard. The course is on roads throughout, and the out-and-back shape means you get a glimpse of the finish area before you turn for home. It runs on a holiday morning, which gives the whole thing a before-breakfast feel.
Packet pickup runs at a local beer garden on the evenings before the race, with an additional pickup window at the depot itself in the days leading up to it. Race-morning pickup opens at the depot well before the start. After the finish, there is an all-you-can-eat brunch with beer and mimosas back at the depot.
