About the Disco Miles: Beachfront Boogie 5K, 10K, Half Marathon
The course runs along the beachfront in Long Beach, flat the whole way, with the ocean beside you for most of it. There is a disco costume contest at the finish, so expect a fair number of bell bottoms and sequins in the crowd. Chip timing is handled on-site, and finish-line photos are available to download after the race.
Bib pickup and same-day registration open early at a race tent on-site. Street parking is nearby, with paid beach lot parking also available; arriving early helps. The finish area has music and snacks.
