About the Denver Veterans Day Run

The course follows running trails through City Park, so you are on grass and packed paths rather than road. The route has a ruck option that adds a weighted pack, honoring a specific fallen officer the race is named for. Dogs are welcome, and the crowd tends to be a mix of active-duty families and civilian supporters who show up for the cause as much as the miles.

The race benefits the Colorado Veterans Project, a nonprofit focused on veteran employment and career support. All donations go directly to that mission, so the entry fee does double duty as a contribution.
