About the 6TH ANNUAL DARBY DASH 5K RUN/WALK
This race is a tribute run honoring a dog named Darby and his owner, organized to benefit Humane Animal Partners. Pets are very much part of the spirit of the morning. The course runs flat and fast through Cape Henlopen State Park, following a bike trail past Fort Miles and turning back near a dune tower. There is a water stop along the way.
The course starts in a bathhouse parking lot on the north side of the park. Post-race awards are held right there in the park. Mail-in registration has an earlier cutoff than online, so if you plan to go that route, give yourself extra time.
