About the Cupid's Chase 5k

The course loops around Lake Quannapowitt, staying flat the whole way. It is an open, scenic route with the lake beside you for most of the run, and the path is wide enough that runners spread out early without much jostling.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a running store in Reading, with a second window race morning at the Lakeside Inn. Sam Adams sponsors a post-race celebration, and beer is part of it. The finish area tends to fill up with people sticking around.
