About the Cupcake Crawl
The race is held at Al Lopez Park, a large city park in Tampa with paved paths and open green space. The shorter distance is aimed at kids and keeps things casual, while the main run is chip timed with age group awards. The whole event is a fundraiser for a charity that throws birthday celebrations for foster children and kids in need.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with bib pickup available at the park on the morning of the event. After the run, there is a Celebration Station with vendors, face painting, and a balloon artist. Cupcake vouchers from a local bakery are part of the post-race spread.
