Atlanta, GA
This is a Halloween-themed race put on by physician assistant students raising money for a local medical clinic. The student-run nature gives the morning a genuine grassroots feel, with proceeds going directly to community health care. The race has been held enough times that it has a real tradition behind it, not just a one-off fundraiser.
