About the Coastal Love Chase - 5K, 10K, 10-Miler, Half Marathon
The course runs along the beach path at Alamitos Beach, out and back, so you are never far from the water. Longer distances repeat the route. The path stays open to the public, so expect other people on it. Stay to the right and let cyclists have the left side. There is an aid station mid-course and another at the finish, with electrolytes, gels, and fruit.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Sports Basement Long Beach, a sporting goods store with a discount for participants that week. Race-morning pickup opens well before the first wave. Parking in the beach lot is paid by the hour, so street parking is a free alternative if you arrive early.
