About the 16th Annual City Manager’s 5K Walk & Run
The course runs through SeaWorld San Antonio, which gives the route a character you do not get at a typical road race. The surroundings are park grounds rather than city streets, and the field tends to be a broad mix of city employees, their families, and community members, all moving through the same space at their own pace. Music, mascots, and vendor tables add to the atmosphere along the way.
Packet pickup opens well before the start, and parking is available in the SeaWorld lot. The morning schedule runs from early pickup through closing ceremonies, wrapping up before the park opens to the general public. A kids' zone is part of the setup, so families with young children have somewhere to land while runners are on course.
