The course runs through Duke Island Park and is described as flat and fast, which suits the spring-opener vibe the race leans into. Dogs are welcome in the shorter walk-friendly distance, and the whole morning is run without time awards, so the pace pressure is off entirely.
Pickup happens on race morning before the start, with no prior-day option. Warm cinnamon buns are at the finish line, and dogs who complete the Pup Strut get their own treat. The race goes on regardless of weather, so check the forecast and layer accordingly.
