About the Christopher Martin's Christmas Run for Children
The course starts outside a restaurant on Upper State Street, heads into downtown, winds through the Wooster Square neighborhood, and comes back the same way it came. The route is flat throughout, with urban surroundings the whole way. Runners are encouraged to bring a toy, and the race has a long history of donating them to children in the area.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a local running store in Woodbridge. Post-race festivities are held outside the restaurant, with refreshments, live entertainment, an awards ceremony, and free beer for those of legal age.
