About the Chaskis Run
The Chaskis Run is put on by a student engineering group partnered with a Texas-Peru nonprofit, and the proceeds go toward relief and development work in Peru and Texas. The course offers a shorter option alongside the main distance, so people show up with a range of goals. Chip timing handles the results, and age group awards go several categories deep. At the finish, there are llamas.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the start area, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before.
