About the Candy Cane 5K

The course runs on paved roads through the Cairn University campus and into the surrounding neighborhood streets, with rolling terrain throughout. It is a costume-friendly crowd, and people take the holiday theme seriously, so expect to share the road with elves, Santas, and a few creative group costumes. There is also a shorter fun run option for anyone coming with younger kids or less motivated relatives.

Hot chocolate, marshmallows, and Christmas cookies are at the finish. Parking on campus has some restrictions on race day, with signs directing runners to specific lots, one of them near a pond.
