About the 27th Annual Kiwanis-Herald Sesame Place Classic-2027
The course runs along Sesame Road, which is closed to traffic for the race, so the route has an unusual quality: the road itself is part of the attraction. There are several distance options, including a short sprint designed specifically for young children, making this a race that draws a lot of families. A support vehicle follows the course to assist anyone who needs help.
Packet pickup happens the weekend before the race inside Oxford Valley Mall, near the Macy's court, with race-morning pickup available as a backup. Free parking sits just outside the Sesame Place entrance, though access to Sesame Road closes early in the morning, so arriving well ahead of the start is worth it.
