About the Brack Alumni Dash 5k and 5K Relay
The course runs laps around the Brackenridge campus, so you pass through the same stretch of grounds each loop. It is a school cross country setting, which means grass and paths rather than open road, and the route stays close to the athletic facilities the whole way. A relay option lets you split the distance with a couple of teammates.
The race benefits the Brackenridge cross country program directly, and the event has a reunion feel for alumni, with new campus facilities open to walk through after you finish. Post-race awards cover age divisions in the solo race and separate relay team categories.
