About the Blackacre Barnstormer
The course runs through Blackacre Nature Preserve, starting near a historic barn and homestead. It moves through open meadow along a tree line, then drops into wooded trail with rocky stretches and a waterfall section, passes an ancient white oak, loops around a cattail pond, and winds back by a spring house and a dragonfly pond. Goats and other farm animals are part of the scenery.
Packet pickup is on race-morning at the venue, so plan to arrive with enough time to get your bib pinned before the start. Parking is in a grass field, and the organizers ask that you carpool if you can. The event is cupless, so bring your own bottle or hydration pack. Ice cream cups and packaged snacks are at the finish.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
