About the BCSD Pajama Run
This is a costume-style run where showing up in pajamas is the point. The race benefits a local school district, with proceeds split between outdoor education camp opportunities for students and classroom grants for teachers. The cause is local and specific, and the pajamas make the start line look unlike most mornings in Bakersfield.
Packet pickup happens on race morning at Bakersfield College, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. Getting there with a little time to spare before the gun goes off is worth it.
