About the Baton Rouge Turkey Trot

The courses start and finish on a downtown street corner, with the shorter route turning around on Spanish Town Road and the longer one looping past the state capitol building and Arsenal Park. Both are flat city streets. A water station sits out on the longer course, and pace signs mark the corrals at the start so runners sort themselves before the gun.

Packet pickup is the day before at a sporting goods store on Bluebonnet Boulevard, with race-morning pickup available at the start area if you need it. The organizers note that morning lines can run long, so earlier is better.
