About the Bakersfield Coffee Run

The course runs through a park along the River Walk, which keeps things scenic without any serious climbing. There is a costume contest before the start, coffee-themed, and the whole morning has that kind of loose energy where people show up in groups and nobody is in a hurry to leave.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at a location the organizers announce closer to race day. There is also a race-morning window at the park if you miss it. The start area hosts the costume contest and a group award before the waves go off.
