About the Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade 5K Run
The course starts and finishes on Peachtree Road, looping through Midtown and Piedmont Park before dropping back onto Peachtree Street, which is the parade route itself. That ending is the thing that makes this race different: you cross the finish line on the same stretch the parade is about to roll down.
The race runs before the parade, so after you finish you are already in position to watch. The post-race crowd has that energy, people in green, families staking out spots along the street.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade 5K Run has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
