About the 25th Annual Amazing Mile Children's Run
This is a children's race, held at Amazement Square in Lynchburg, with several distance options sized for different ages and abilities. The course is designed around kids, so the atmosphere leans toward cheering adults and excited young runners rather than a clock-watching crowd. The surroundings are familiar, and the energy on course reflects that.
Packet pickup happens at Amazement Square both the evening before and during the afternoon on race day itself. A family festival runs before and after the race, with activity stations, face painting, and food vendors on-site, so the day extends well beyond the race itself.
