About the AdventHealth Avista Louisville Turkey Trot
The route runs through downtown Louisville on Thanksgiving morning, starting near the intersection of Front Street and Pine Street and finishing a short distance away on South Street. It is a road course with no chip timing and no bibs, so the pace is entirely your own. A clock at the finish gives you a rough sense of your time if you want one.
After finishing, there is craft beer, hard cider, spirits, coffee, and hot cocoa waiting near the finish area, with local breweries and roasters providing the spread. Parking is in designated lots near the start, with street parking available through downtown. Dogs are not allowed on the course, but strollers are welcome.
