About the 5k with ME
The course runs along Proctor Creek Trail inside Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, an out-and-back on natural terrain. The park itself is spacious and green, and the trail setting keeps things shaded and grounded. The race draws women from faith communities and friend groups across the city, and the atmosphere along the course reflects that, with participants moving at whatever pace works for them.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a local masjid, with race-morning pickup available as well. The post-race gathering includes an awards portion and a wellness segment, so there is reason to stick around after you finish.
