About the 36TH LAST BLAST PREDICTION 5K
This is a prediction race, which changes everything. You run without a watch, no phone, no headphones, and no pacing devices of any kind. The goal is to finish as close to the time you predicted when you registered. The course runs out and back from Grove Park toward North Shores, on open road, staying to the far right on the way out.
The post-race gathering happens right at Grove Park, where the summer race series awards are also handed out alongside the prediction results. It is a proper end-of-season sendoff, with an awards ceremony that covers both the day's race and the broader series standings.

The 36TH LAST BLAST PREDICTION 5K has been held every year since at least 2020. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
